Improve an attorney profile
Tune your attorney listing so firms and clients understand the work you want.
Focus the headline
Use the first sentence of your bio to name the matters you want more of. A useful pattern is: who you help, what issue you handle, and the jurisdiction or market you serve.
Keep practice areas specific
Select the practice areas that match your current work. If you accept referrals only for a subset of your firm practice, keep the listing narrower than your resume.
Add trust signals
- Active bar admissions
- Representative publications or speaking topics
- Service locations and court familiarity
- A current profile photo
Review after each referral
If a referral was a poor fit, update the profile language that may have attracted it. Small edits reduce mismatched outreach over time.
